Semester Start-Up Programme for Non-EU International Students
The innovative Semester Start Up Programme (or SSP) at Trinity College provides international students with the opportunity to undertake a full semester’s study at Ireland’s leading university. The SSP, which runs for three weeks before the start of term , covers the first one-sixth of a student’s semester work commitment at Trinity (5ECTS), with the remainder being covered by the other undergraduate courses students chose to do during October-December. The three-week SSP is unique in Ireland, combining an interdisciplinary approach to undergraduate study with the highest academic and educational standards. The SSP is therefore a viable option for all undergraduate students, from all disciplines.
